About this deal

Again, this will upset people, but I truly feel that when people pay a lot for something their brain will attach more value to it just because it’s expensive. For example, it’s my understanding that Baccarat Rouge is almost entirely synthetic, yet people assume the notes listed are ingredients to the perfume rather than (synthetic) aromachemicals adding up to what we’re *supposed* to smell in the fragrance. Using “synthetic” as a pejorative when discussing perfume is just ridiculous and indicates that one probably doesn’t really know much about the subject. I would also wear this in cold seasons cause i think the sweetness and creaminess is very warm and comforting

The whole fragrance can stand on its feet and it would be a nice change from Pink Sugar, but this is a review from someone who strongly dislike candy factory smells and burned sugar.

If you like the original, you will like this one too, and if you hate the original you will hate this one too, because they are sooo extremely similar. Anyway, this perfume is a MONSTER, both in longevity and sillage. Again, and this cannot be said enough times, do not overspray. One spritz is more than enough and people WILL notice. when first putting it on, 10-20 minutes: at first, you get that REALLY LOUD licorice smell. it also has a fruity smell, like strawberry. i kinda smell the raspberry If you have pink sugar I honestly don't think you need both. If you can get your hands on it and would love to have it definitely give it a shot! For a cheapie, aquolina is a beast! However, it's probably the most duped fragrance now. Even if the notes don't match up. I've had a few bottles of it over the years and everyone at my job (teacher) ran to spray it. I worked at a humongous residential facility and there were a ton of workers. The school smelled of PS. If you didn't own it, you owned a dupe.

This is all about cotton candy and marshmallows! It actually smells *fluffy*, somehow, maybe it's a tiny tinge of powderiness, like the way scented plastic dolls used to smell. It doesn't actually smell like doll though, it smells like a candy shop, sweet and warm, like vanilla-caramel fluff. It's not fruity at all to me, and I only get a faint hint of licorice at the beginning. This is worth a try for fans of ultra-sweet, funfair inspired gourmands, especially if you enjoy blueberry flavored things. It opens with intense (mostly)sweet-(vaguely)citrusy notes that swiftly make way for the most authentic cotton candy scent and licorice - the burnt thing that some people smell. I'm not familiar with the specifics of making cotton candy and whether it can be burnt/overdone, but this is the feeing I get. It's not overpowering to my nose and doesn't ruin the sweetness at all. Licorice disappears eventually 3-5 hours in, and Pink Sugar becomes a very simple sugary scent, not even caramel as much as just plain sugar - by that time you might begin to feel like this perfume has overstayed its welcome. Tonka beans give it some depth, the dry down gets a bit woody which I like but not as much as the licorice note here. The sillage is good but unfortunately the longevity is terrible. I desperately want to find a way to make this last longer on skin as I really enjoy it but it is gone within 2 hours maximum which is so disappointing ,as its probably a more expensive celebrity perfume comparative to other celeb perfumes with better longevity. And considering the sweetness you would think it would linger. Sadly not. The bottle is really cute. I'm not an AG fan so i just turn it round. I gave this 4-5 tries. I really tried to make it work with this one. But it seems to be one that I will eventually pass on to someone else. A loved one who enjoys her occassional drink now and then loves it and she can even smell the sweetness in it. So I guess I will have to give it to her.Actually Cloud was in my wish list for a while because of the hype and the notes as I am a huge gourmand lover.. I was so surprised that I didn't get that creamy sweetness which everybody is describing. i don’t see any similarities with BR540 and it’s not the reason i bought it. it had whipped cream, it’s cheap and i didn’t have a lactonic fragrance in my collection so because of the price i bought it. Simple, rounded, sweet, cherry in opening for a while, the berry whatevers aren't tart or specific. I think the praline note ruins it for me. It's far too artificial, like cheap Easter chocolate. It's unfortunate because it seems like the "nutty" approach was supposed to be its defining characteristic. And indeed, I'm not sure anything else smells like it, on the YA mass market anyway (no reference for BR 540 for me). None of the fresher notes presented on me, and I wish I could've gotten some of that pear to lift it somehow. The lavender is somewhat artificial too, providing an odd sharpness. I smelled something similar with Lavender Cloud by Being Frenshe - it is not an EO lavender, not unless it really reacts with milky notes and coconut to create... "this" picture of lavender.
