I have since removed posts regarding to it as a standalone and have added it into the enigma series. I apologise for any confusion this may have caused. They never followed the rules at all. Especially during her murder trial, they were completely careless about seeing each other without real regards to the consequences. I don't know anything about Isaac other than he is hung like a horse and is angry all the time. He is also crazily possessive and rich.

There was a lot of mystery and action in this series that keeps you engrossed. Additionally there's a lot of HOT sex which is very well written (if a little unbelievable, but hey...we can dream, right ladies?). To be honest I thought after book 3 I would have started to get fed up of Isabelle and Isaac like I have with others before but no – I still love them and I still want more! I definitely don’t want this series to end! I have a feeling I am heading for a book hangover! So if you want to read a story that completely changes your life, read not only this one but all of Isaac & Izzy’s books. Isaac will, forever & always, be my number one. He’s everything I needed at the time when I met him and I didn’t even know it, not just him, but Izzy and Hugo and Hunter and everyone else as well. This whole universe changed my life.

Isaac ( Mr Holt) is a club owner he’s extremely private and only let a small amount of people in to his private life he don't do relationships or dating just one night stands which at the time was working fine for him. His life is hectic with business but he's extremely mysterious and abit broody at times but it just adds to the his sex appeal the dark handsome time yum. When he meets Isabelle he doesn't realise his world is going to be turned upside down. Can they survive secrets they have? Can Isabelle break through his walls and get to his heart??? The irony isn't lost on me that I have been yammering on about loving a detailed story but this was just too much. Especially because Isabelle is a snivelling mess who should not call herself an FBI anything. Not even an office attendant. On her way to her first posting as an FBI agent, Isabelle literally runs into the hottest guy she’s ever seen at the airport. After he helps her up off the floor they part, but guess what?! He’s seated next to her on her flight! They banter and flirt and he asks her to meet him at his club the next night. Isabelle learns that her first case is investigating this very same stranger! Do you think she disclosed to her boss they had met? No. But as fate would have it, on her first weekend off of work she runs into him again while drunk at nightclub! He takes her home after she passes out. Determined to stay away from him because of the conflict of interest she “skedaddles”. Oh but she runs into him again at a restaurant while out with a friend, and they all end up sharing a booth. Like, what are the odds?! Isaac and Izzy are not only in a fight for her freedom on murder charges but they are also in for a fight of their life for their relationship. With the evidence against Izzy looking more like planted evidence Regan is now sure she can get Izzy off the murder charges but that will have to wait until it goes to court for the judge to decide. Until he judge makes his ruling there is nothing Isaac and Izzy can do but wait. However with the one single indiscretion Isaac has had since he and Izzy became a couple hanging over his head he is in a mess and everything is worthless to him if he doesn’t have Izzy in his life.

I loved Isaac and he is the perfect guy for my stories, but Isabelle was annoying as crap!! She cries over EVERYTHING!! He hates it and I hated it just as much. I was like, "She is an FBI agent....get over your crap." I love that although the characters evolved and developed over the story they never changed completely they just became better versions of themselves. This series has by far exceeded my expectations, the author has written a series to be very proud of. Not many authors can keep my attention over so many books by this one has. In fact I could happily read more about Isaac and Izzy and I really do hope that they pop up in any future stories! 5 stars is not enough for this book or any of them. The series as a whole was for me just out of this world. It’s definitely going to be one that I will read over and over again just so I can lose myself in the sexy mysterious world of Mr Isaac Holt – Shandi Boyes thank you for bringing him into my life! She’s treated absolutely horribly by Isaac in this book (he publicly humiliates her… AND SHE APOLOGIZES TO HIM FOR IT). Some of the logic in the book just didn’t follow. She also constantly talks about her “inner vixen” and how she’s actually like really kinky, you know. But then she throws a tantrum when she’s being teased. Like… she literally cries. Because he teases her. I hope you enjoyed this little chit chat about the absolute monstrosity this book was. Now, at this point you may be wondering, “Natasha, if it was really this bad… why did you keep reading?”Isabelle lost her family at a young age and was raised by her Uncle Tobias who was a great role model for her. Isabelle is on her way to her new job in a new town when she literally falls down to the feet of the most handsome man with grey eyes she has ever met. She enjoys her plane ride after meeting him because she is scared of flying this perfect (and I mean perfect in every way) stranger helped her through the scary part. Isabelle meets new people and works hard at her job put can’t quit thinking about those eyes and that man who she needs to stay far away from. He is an enigma and she finds herself drawn to him as much as she tries to keep her distance he just always appears and her body is a traitor to her and has a mind of its own when she is near him. Enigma: The Mystery unmasked by Shanti Boyes a twiterpating five-star read. This is the third book in the Enigma series and it is just as fast paced and thrill filled as the first book. One of the things about this series is how we are shown how Isabella Brahn has been through a lot, and has had to fight for everything she believes in and loves, we are shown that no matter how hard she fights, she can’t always win. This story goes from strength to strength, I can’t wait to read the next story in the series. You can’t help but watch her fight and want to stand alongside her holding her hand and getting the punching bag ready. Wow this novel is amazing you will definitely not be disappointed in Isaacs and Isabelle’s story it's hot and the chemistry between them is so hot it could set your kindle on fire. This series had romance, (lots of) sex, suspense, mystery and misdirection to lead us, the reader, to think one thing is going to happen when perhaps something else is going to take place. This series took me a month to read which is crazy for me. It just had a hard time keeping my interest. There were a lot of things I liked about this series, however there were too many repetitive things. Something crazy happens, then they have sex. Something crazy happens and then they have sex. Catch my drift. It was getting kind of monotonous.

i think one of my favorite scenes is the one with the quote i put above. the amount of times i’ve seen this quote literally everywhere, it just convinced me to read this book. there are so many scenes i loved, but i’m gonna be honest, i’m gonna stop writing now so i can continue reading unraveling an enigma. these books are so addicting i can’t stop. and i have two arcs i need to read by like tonight but i can’t bring myself to stop reading this story.My favorite Kindle note to write: “This is like reading Twilight but Mafia instead of Vampires. This is like tragically bad. I’m just reading it for shits and giggles at this point. Like this is tragic” Isaac Holt lives and breathes his empire. He started it with nothing but his own blood, sweat, and tears. And he has no intentions of letting anything or anyone get in the way of his empire’s success. “My business is my empire. I worked relentlessly for years to get where I am. I eat, breathe, and sleep for my empire. Nothing has ever been able to divert my attention away from my goals and aspirations for the past five years. Nothing at all. Until I saw her.” The her is Isabelle and his eternal weakness. Something about her touches him and makes him have a soft spot for her no matter what he does to try and stay away. Eventually he gives in and tries to make it all about her, and devote himself romantically to her, vowing to be her protector for as long as he is alive. Isaac and Izzy are still our main characters that we are following, but we see a lot of the same supporting people too, like Isaacs right hand man, Hugo, amongst others. Just when Isaac thought he and Izzy were in the clear for the most part and able to focus on a relationship things blow up. Izzy is arrested and being framed for murder. “I knew something wasn’t right when the heaviness that has been plaguing my chest the past week amplified. But I never expected it to be something as mammoth as this. The beautiful, kind-hearted, never says a bad word about anyone, Isabelle has been arrested for murder. You think I would have recognized the signs. The protectiveness she displayed earlier today when I said I didn’t need her to protect me. Her bold statement about not being able to breathe without me in her life. The fact that she allowed her hands to become stained to help my family. They were all signs I should have been watching for. Isabelle’s possessiveness of me is just as paramount as my protectiveness of her. I would do anything in my power to protect her, anything at all. Obviously, Isabelle, fells the same way about me.” The twists in this book were just amazing – I didn’t know what was going to happen and to be honest I didn’t want to guess either. I was totally wrapped up in their story! Whilst I love standalone books usually because I want a conclusion fast but I also love a series and this is without doubt going to be an amazing series! I can’t wait to see where their story goes.
